Enthusiastic thing in my life


I am really enthusiastic about education in my life because long time ago, my parents and my grandmother/grandfather were not have chance to go to school so, they were illiterate person. Even though they were illiterate person, they always encouraged me to become educated person because they lost their chance to get their education so they wanted to see me to become educated person. And also, I was really excited to get my education because I’m really wanted to become educated person in my life. For example, if I compared educated person and uneducated person are totally different their life and their living standard. Likewise, my parents are uneducated person so they did the hard work and also not easy to get the work. Therefore, I hopefully that in my life I might become education person and then whatever, I had learn and got the knowledge skills. I might help my community about the education department program because it’s very important for our generation to get their education and also I’m very enthusiastic to help my community to develop the education system.

I'm going to do for my community for in the future

Before, I attended in the “Wide Horizons” school. I was worked for a long time in my community and I had got a lot of experiences from that. But in our community we didn’t used to speak English language and didn’t used to write. And also we didn’t learn well about the “Project Management Skill” like in here. So, I hadn’t enough qualified English skills and project management skill to improve my education because I didn’t used to speak English language and didn’t used to write. Also I couldn’t manage well when I was working in the past time. So, I was very poor those skills. Right now I am having a good chance to learn those skills. Therefore, I hope that I finish this graduate in the “Wide Horizon” academic year, I have to come back to help my community for improving/developing more than before I worked because I already given commitment from our community to internships an least for one year before I’m attend in this school. Whatever, I got from many skills by the W/H School; I have to reply and have to share for our generation and for our staffs as much as I can. When I am arriving in our community whatever, work my leader gives me position and me take responsibilities. I might do the best and might be replying my skills what I got form the W/H School. For example, if I’m working a normal teacher for teaching the students. I will teach many ways and many methods for the students to become interesting and understanding clearly what I’m teaching.

If you a zillionaire what will you do? How?

If I have a zillion, I have a dream that who is staying inside Burma of our ethnic and a person who couldn’t continue their education especially for poor families because mostly they parents couldn’t support their children to continue education so their children felt sad and drop out from the school and it’s bad affected for their education. As a result I will donate and supporting for them. Firstly before, I am implementations this project a bout to help the poor families inside Burma of our ethnic who couldn’t go to school and couldn’t continue their education. I will find trainer for train the staffs how to use “Gas Analysis” is meaning that actual condition and optima condition and “Questionnaires Skills/Interviewing Skills because those are very important things to survey to get real information from this situation. After they finish this training when they were receiving this skills. I will order these training to apply their skill what they got. At that time, they have to traveler many different places of inside Burma to member of staff serving at table to get real information from that. And then, when they got the real information from that. At that time they have to write report and have to send for me. When I received their report and was reading their report, in that problem is mostly they hadn’t enough school materials and they couldn’t pay school tax from the government. Accordingly, I have to donate and support for them what they need for a long term as much as I can. Before I came here, when I was working a long periods from my organization of KnED until to the last year. We always had discussion about it because inside Burma it really happened like this situation so we knew about that. About this problem we also had supported for them but we couldn’t support well for them. Therefore, if I really have a zillion, I will donate and supporting for our ethnic people who are staying inside Burma.

Solving the problem between ethnic groups and SPDC in Burma

If I am a president of USA right now, I have a dream that one day in Burma will become a federal democratic /a peaceful country. Because firstly, I will be publish of all real happen in the Burma news on the world to know a bout the Burma was not fair for other ethnic groups. And then, I have to pressure of all ethnics for negotiation to solve the problem on Burma is the best way with fair/equal solution. Second, I will be negotiating with the SPDC general Than Shwe, and NLD to get their agreement. And then, I will be discussing with internationals families to participation the activities to change on the Burma situation especially for ethnic groups to get their interdependent/peaceful country. Therefore, at that time there will no more discrimination between Burmese and other ethnic groups. And then, there will be a free economic system, a qualified education system, fair salary for all the workers, and have a chance to get a passport easily. Finally, the people from the Burma who had stated under the Burma-law controller, at this time they will be lives in peaceful their country.

Studying English
In the past when I was study in English, it’s the most important of my study and very interested to learn until now. I have been studying since I was in Primary school until to the post ten levels. But I didn’t learn systematically. For example a bout the essay and writing a paragraph I hadn’t learn well how to write step by step like we are learning in here. So, I couldn’t write by my own idea and I haven’t ever to practice to write like essay. But in grammar I had learn better than writing and had a practice to the test quizzes, and exam. Sometime, when I finished my study in high school my brother and I were practice in speaking English. Because I was real want to improve my English skill. But in my organization we didn’t practice to speak English just only used our mother language and Burmese language so I didn’t improve my English skills. However, I’m now studying in this Wide Horizons; I’m really having a good chance to improve my English skills. For the reason that, right now my teacher’s teaching a lot of English skills for us such as “Writing, Reading, Speaking, and listening skills. And our teacher could teach very well for us so I am really enthusiastic to study English and until today. Finally, English subject is the most interest studying and very useful for me.

Difference betweens Wide Horizons and my last school “Grading and Teaching Method”.

The last school when I was attended at the KnTTC (Karenni Teacher Training Center) for two years. In that school, especially train for teachers who want to be a teacher and subject coordinator. Right now I would like to comparing difference betweens WH and my last school at KnTTC (Karenni Teacher Training Center). Grading and teaching method are a little different to learning in here and my last school. First of all, in here there are grading from the beginning of the school to the last final exam. For example, teacher give a lot of different grading such as quizzes, participation skill, attendance, homework, test, and final exam. Even though we pass or fail. At that time, teachers are meeting with us face to face and evaluate which part is our weak point and we done well or not well. Teacher comment us and gave our marks. And which part is we need to improve more. As a result, It good benefit for us. My last school was grading a little different in here. They used to grading (continuing assessment, quizzes, attendance, homework, and final exam). Even we pass or fail those of exams teacher give (plus and minus). For example, If we pass those exams we will see our grade as (A+/A, B+/B, C+/C etc). At that time, when we finished our each semester exams, teachers gave us report cards but teachers didn’t meet with us one by one. Another one is teaching method. It’s very different teaching method in this WH school and my last school. Because my last school mostly teachers were following by text book. Thus, sometime student was boring. In this Wide Horizons is very different teaching method. In here, our teacher’s use a lot of different styles. Such as every class teacher changing styles. At that time, mostly student hadn’t boring and very exciting, and very interested. For example, every student are can participation, can using freely our critical thinking. Therefore, it’s very different between in grading and teaching method in this Wide Horizons and my last school when I was attended from that.

Kyaw Htet Question Reflection

On Saturday, 19 September, we went to the teacher Brooke house and met with the MEF students. Firstly, we make new friends with them. At that time, I was very happy and very excited because I never meet with them before. It’s the first time for me. During that day, we choose some of their games and our games. And then, I was enjoyed with their activities and our activities that make me interested and also their drummer. In addition, they were very friendly with us and we were talking each other while we were eating together such as chicken and sprite etc. Finally, we had exchange with MEF students that’s one kind of relaxed my feeling with them. The last first semester, I understanding part is “Independent Clause and Dependent Clause in English class. Firstly, I was very confused a bout it. Because I never heard before what is Independent Clause and dependent Clause. At that day, teacher’s taught a bout it and explaining two or three times for us. So, I understudied a little. And then, teacher’s gave homework a bout it. At that time, I usually make mistake because I couldn’t divided well which one is IC sentences and DC sentences. After then, I tried to remember the formulas: Such as DC, IC. IC DC. IC. IC. For example: (When I was learning a bout the IC and DC, it was very confused for me. It’s DC,IC. Therefore, Independent Clause and Dependent Clause is my understanding the past semester.
